Potential

Snowfire has three excellent airborne gaits with expressive shoulder action, strong rhythm and powerful hindquarters.

He has a wonderful calm personality, is sweet in nature and very easy to handle.

Pedigree

Snowfire’s pedigree is impressive – he combines the best of dressage sport and breeding lines in Trakehner and Warmbloods –

Gribaldi – Sixtus – Münchhausen – Caprimond – Michelangelo

Just these 5 select ancestors have competed successfully to Grand Prix themselves and have made a mark as sires on international dressage and showjumping/eventing breeding.

Performance

Snowfire was awarded “licensed” (3 stars) at his AES stallion presentation – this is the highest grading a rising 3 year old can receive.

He received merit on his balance, development, elasticity and overall model.

As a 4,5 year old he was upgraded to “approved” (4 stars) to an unlimited book of mares.

HIs first foal crops show his stamp as a sire: Trakehner type, refined model, multi-disciplinary, excellent movement and solid character.

Snowfire won and placed in FEI Young Horses Tests with high scores (high 70’s) as a 4 year old. The international judges gave him 8 ‘s and 9’s on his gaits as well commenting “wonderful natural balance, lovely horse, enormous talent, quality paces”. As a 5 year old he qualified for the Belgian Championship with tests over 80% and scored 73.2% in the 2nd qualification. To finish the year on a high note, he won the LEWB (Ligue Equestre Wallonie Bruxelles) Championship with 200 points advance!

He is currently the only Trakehner dressage stallion of his year to achieve success at (inter)national level. He is promoted by the Trakehner Sport Fund (TSF) as a young and upcoming dressage talent.
